Abstract In this article the author presents and edits a set of texts, two model sermons capite ieiunii Parisian reportationes by same preacher, Gilbert Tournai ( OFM , d. 1284), at different moments his career. The study those texts offers rare insight into mental toolbox showing how was able to craft sermons, over number years, recycling, repurposing enriching favourite preaching material. This also raises issue transmission transformations material, through prism live performances, memory, written records.
